Welcome to the official website for the Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL), the Conference of Champions!
Entering the 2019-2020 season, the WCHL boasts seven strong contenders for the ACHA M1 National Championship Tournament, which will be held in Frisco, Texas in March 2020. Night in and night out, the WCHL and its member teams provide competitive, hard-hitting, fast-paced ACHA M1 college hockey action.
Arizona is the current WCHL Regular Season Champion. Central Oklahoma won three conference championships between 2015-2016 and 2017-2018 seasons. Arizona State won the conference championship in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
Arizona State won the 2013-14 ACHA M1 National Championship. Central Oklahoma won the 2014-15 and 2016-2017 ACHA M1 National Championships.
The WCHL was formed in 2013 by Arizona, Arizona State, Central Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State and Oklahoma. Arkansas and Missouri State joined the WCHL in the 2015-2016 season, with Arkansas leaving the WCHL after the 2018-2019 season.
Leading the way in the ACHA, the WCHL is home to respected ACHA M1 Coaches of the Year and All-Americans, and most of its member teams are consistently in the ACHA M1 Top 25 rankings.
